Program Description:

Accent Language School had an extremely successful summer this year welcoming over 100 students from France, Spain, Japan and Germany to the island. The aim of Accent's Summer School is to combine varied and fun English lessons with a range of exciting local activities such as surfing, coasteering, museum visits, kayaking, team building activities and much more. Next year, we hope that even more students will visit the island and join our Summer School! If you are between the age of 11 - 17 and are looking for a fun way to learn English and make new friends next summer then get in touch with Accent! We organise host family accommodation which is a popular option for international students. Parents are more than welcome, as we also offer Adult Study Breaks.

Setting Description:

Guernsey is the second largest Channel Island located 30 miles from France and 125 miles south of England. Famous for its beautiful beaches and quaint town centre, Guernsey is the perfect place to spend your Summer. Frequent ferry crossings from France and flights from Gatwick and other UK airports with an option of 3 different airlines means that you can travel from Europe to Guernsey with ease.
