Program Description:

Students may choose from a full, high-quality liberal arts and business curriculum in order to fulfill elective or major requirements at their home institution or may choose to pursue a Greek cultural/historical curriculum. Courses in International Relations, Business, Humanaties and Computer Science are offered in English with a traditional American style learning environment enhanced by the international student body which is more than 50% Greek and international students.

ACT Study Abroad - Greece offers students a rich academic curriculum at a fully accredited U.S. college and the opportunity to explore one of the world''s great cultures in depth. Students will participate in learning in ACTion components in each class which will allow for involvement in the local community and a full immersion into Greek life and culture.

The price of the program includes application fee, tuition, housing, full two day orientation program, field trips throughout the semester, academic and other counselling services. Fees are even lower for students attending for more than one semester.

Setting Description:

Thessaloniki is a warm, human scale university town; a historical port with Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine and Venetian ruins. It enjoys sunshine year-round, and its seaside location lends itself to easy exploration of beaches and islands. The Chalkidiki peninsula, one of Greece''s most beautiful resort regions, is only an hour away.
