SUMMER SCHOOL- Romanian Language Courses Timisoara, 1st- 12th August Learn Romanian in Romania! With Berlitz Berlitz organizes Romanian language courses in the beautiful city of Timisoara

Intensive Romanian language courses, from 1st August until 12th August, including 50 language lessons (1 lesson lasts 45 minutes), 2 film screenings and a city tour, plus additional trips around the city. Courses are available at 3 levels: 1. Beginners’ level 2. Intermediate level 3. Advanced level Groups will be formed of 8-10 students at similar level. The small size of the groups will ensure that students will receive enough speaking practice and will benefit from individual attention from the instructors. Upon filling the registration form, the students will be invited to assess their knowledge of the Romanian language. On the opening day of the courses, the participants with previous knowledge of the language will take an oral test in order to be placed in a group which is appropriate to their knowledge of the language. All language courses will be delivered exclusively in Romanian, using the Berlitz Method, which guarantees the fastest progress in the shortest time. The focus will be on developing speaking skills by practising the language in various social and professisonal contexts that are relevant for the students. The courses will be taught by enthusiastic and experienced Berlitz instructors, who are native Romanian speakers and universities graduates, especially trained by Berlitz. The courses in Romanian language are based on a flexible curriculum, covering all major topics of interest. All the students who have attended at least 90% of the classes will obtain a certificate of attendance. Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 09:30 am to 2:00 pm.

The participation fee is Euro 500 and covers: registration, tuition, material, city tour, other additional activities included in the programme. The participation fee does not cover the international or internal transport, accommodation, health insurance, medical services, the entrance visa (if needed). Important! The participants are responsible to purchase their own international health insurance. The organizers will not cover the costs of hospitalization or other medical care costs. Payment conditions: - The total sum for the participation to the programme (Euro 500) must be received before the arrival. - Please write the student’s name on all the documents relating to bank transfer of funds. - All bank charges fall into the responsibility of the applicant. Setting Description:

Accommodation can be made in 3 star hotels located within a short distance from the Berlitz Language Center. Hotel Central – single room 160 RON/ night (breakfast included); double room: 180 RON/ night (breakfast included) – www.hotelcentral.ro (located within 5 minutes walking from Berlitz Center) Hotel Roma - single room 90 RON/ night; twin room: 125 RON/ night – www.hotelroma.ro (located in the student campus) The minimum age for attendance is 18. In order to attend the Romanian summer courses, participants must fill in and return the enrollment form accompanied by a curriculum-vitae, a copy of the passport (the page with the personal data) and a copy of the document confirming the bank transfer of the participation fee into the account of the Berlitz Language Center. Upon receipt of all these documents the Berlitz Language Center will notify in writing the official enrollment in the course. The deadline for enrollment is July 10th, 2011.
