Program Description:

CGE Jordan is one of the oldest Arabic language institutes in Jordan and was founded by the author of "The 101 Most Used Verbs in Spoken Arabic: Jordan & Palestine." It is the only Arabic language program in the world offering a comprehensive curriculum for the all-important Spoken Arabic language which is used in 95% of daily life in the Middle East. CGE Jordan's Arabic program is truly unique in that it is the only accredited study abroad program offering serious study in both spoken Arabic and Modern Standard Arabic. Classes are always capped at no more than 10 students.

Our program includes: 12 credit hours (180 hours of instruction) divided into 50% Levantine dialect & 50% Modern Standard Arabic; a choice between a shared apartment or home-stay options; weekend trips to The Citadel & Archeological Museum, Wadi Mujib Canyon, Jerash Roman Ruins, Petra and the Baptismal Site; and an all-inclusive trip midterm trip to Sharm Al-Sheikh on the Red Sea Coast of Egypt.
