PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE
The objective of this programme is to introduce
key understandings about New Zealand’s history, culture, lifestyle, work, business and other learner selected areas such as English, rugby and cricket and pathways to other programmes.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT?
Learners can expect enjoyable, active and friendly small active group learning sessions taught by supportive facilitators who will focus on your individual interests and goals along with experiences and visits to places of interest that relate to and support your learning. You will meet real New Zealanders and see how they live their lives plus experience the pure New Zealand heartland
PAPER SUMMARY
environment. Learning especially focuses on developing the knowledge and skills to travel or live in New Zealand independently and possible work career or other options in New Zealand.
PROGRAMME CONTENT
The programme consists of five papers, three are compulsory. Programme content includes study of New Zealand culture, history, work and business and living options, rights and responsibilities, English in New Zealand, working, business and sport, arts and recreation or special learner selected study area(s). Learners will also have the option to take a trip together.
ENTRY CRITERIA
Entry to this programme is open to national and International applicants who are 18 years of age or older. There is no English language requirement for any applicant to this programme. Applicants will be invited to have a conversation about the programme and their interest in it.
Note: this programme may be studied on Visitor Visa.
