Program Description:

Intern with Global Experiences in Australia in Journalism. Assist a stylish quality newspaper that reports local news and views that influence and shape the community and which is part of the news group as a Junior Reporter.

The duties will include but are not limited to:

general procedures for working at a newspaper

This is an example of a Journalism Internship. However, Global Experiences' internships are arranged based on your preference in terms of internship area, as well as your past experience and academic background. We will find an internship to suit you rather than matching you to one that already exists.

Setting Description:

The intern will be training as a general junior reporter. This will involve her being out in the field under the supervision of senior staff reporters. The training will involve learning about the development of a printed story from start to completion. The intern will be working closely with senior staff and learning about all the various areas within the newspaper.
