Join our international team in the spectacular city of Cape Town and work with children from the local townships while developing teaching experience and qualifications on this long-term internship. South Africa’s famous city of Cape Town is the place where you can learn to plan and deliver a range of educational lessons as well as leadership and teamwork skills, then apply it in educare centers and township schools. This helps to provide disadvantaged children with a richer, better quality education. The internship is geared at developing your leadership and role model skills, allowing you to develop a variety of key soft and hard skills that will put you a step ahead of the rest of the pack. After a successful internship, qualifying candidates may be given the opportunity to work for GVI or selected partner organizations.

- The vibrant city of Cape Town is one of South Africa’s most celebrated and famous tourist hubs. Our program in Cape Town is situated just outside the city in a charming coastal area called Gordon’s Bay. Our project work takes place in a township area where we work towards creating an environment that promotes improved education, learning and overall community development. GVI’s projects in Cape Town offer volunteers a true cultural experience.
