Program Description:

Studying abroad with Greenheart Travel’s high school program in Argentina is a chance to experience what it’s like to attend high school with your Argentine peers, while living with a host family and practicing your Spanish language skills.

Choose between a: 4-week, trimester, semester or academic year program!

Gap Year Option

Our high school in Argentina program also offers a unique opportunity for students who have already graduated to attend university abroad after a semester in Argentina. Contact us for more information on this gap year option and how to get started. To eligible, the student must have:

• Finished high school in his/her home country and be at least 18 and 9 months years old.
• Successfully study and complete his/her first semester in an Argentinean high school.

Setting Description:

Social life is very important to Argentines, especially in the smaller communities and offers you the opportunity to participate in many different activities. The best way to learn about a new culture and language is to be fully immersed in it which is why all Greenheart Travel high school abroad students live with host families. All our host families are volunteers and will treat you as a member of their family. Prospective host families undergo a rigorous screening process. Participants can rest assured that only suitable host families will be selected. In fact, many of our current host families have hosted students in the past, showing what an impactful experience it was.
