The Lexia Film Studies Program is designed to enable students to study French culture, history and language through film, while also giving them an introduction to film making and theory that specifically draws on the rich sights, sounds and resources of Paris. Instruction is in French.

It also encourages participation in French community events, institutions and family life. No prior knowledge of French is required, as most coursework is in English. Language instruction during the first month of the program is taught intensively to help students develop the language skills and confidence to live and study in, and integrate themselves into, the French community.
