The Oxford Summer Academy is a comprehensive package. The program includes academic tuition during the mornings, participation in electives during the afternoons, and a wide range of cultural activities and excursions.
The Oxford Summer Academy is a program designed for high-school students, aged 16-19. Participants are introduced to the unique academic and cultural environment of Oxford, England, and experience at first-hand what it is like to study at Oxford University.
The teaching staff at Oxford Summer Academy are tutors and graduates of the university itself. Academic tuition gives students the opportunity to consolidate their high-school studies, as well as the chance to explore new subjects. The afternoon electives are designed to broaden students’ experience and lead to achievements that can enhance university applications.
- Setting Description:
- Students stay at St Edmund Hall, a medieval college in the centre of Oxford. During the course, they will visit many of the attractions in the surrounding Cotswolds as well as have the opportunity to visit London.
