With more than 750,000 sq. ft. under roof and acres of outdoor facilities, we have the unique capability to simultaneously host clubs, leagues, tournaments and championship events no matter the weather or the season. We have hosted events such as the A10 in Swimming and Diving, the Big 10 indoor Track and Field Championships, the MAC Volleyball Championships, and a Paralympic send off for the 2012 Wheelchair Basketball Team. Every consideration has been taken to create an unparalleled experience for the athlete, coach and the spectator. Through this facility we house and train Athletes from all over the world striving to reach the next level. We train athletes on the court in Basketball and Volleyball, in the pool with Swimming and Diving, on the field in Football and Soccer, and on the track with Track and Field. Michael Johnson Performance (MJP) is the core of every sport training program. The objective is to develop a complete athlete; academically, mentally, and physically. SPIRE Academy offers school year and summer weekly, weekend and summer camp training programs geared toward middle and high school students, post grads, teams, collegians and professionals, all united by their singular pursuit of performance excellence. SPIRE does not just stop at the athlete; we work toward making a healthy family though sport and competition. Health, wellness and exercise are at the center of the SPIRE vision and SPIRE Fit will promote the values of these components for all of our members. SPIRE Fit offers a variety of family, individual and senior memberships for those who desire a 'best in class' workout environment.

The inaugural sports at SPIRE Academy include swimming, volleyball, track & field, throws and basketball, to be followed by soccer and lacrosse. High school student athletes attend nearby Andrews Osborne Academy, a college prep, day and boarding school - thus ensuring that each graduate departs SPIRE Academy prepared for greatness in any field. SPIRE is a place where even Olympians marvel. Athletes who’ve inspired nations and shattered records are reduced to awe when they step inside SPIRE. Here student athletes under the guidance of sport’s most prominent coaches and trainers can pursue their quest for excellence in an atmosphere that fosters excellence - in college bound academics, in reaching full athletic potential and in developing responsible young adults.
