Program Overview

Program Description:
The University of Miami School of Law has been offering travel/study programs as well as city-based programs since 1991. The programs are offered to law students from around the U.S. and Canada. These programs are specifically designed to be the best located, longest, most comprehensive and most inclusive as possible. An exciting array of interesting destinations, special events, and guided trips are always included and the students always have time to explore on their own. The law courses included in the program are sanctioned by the ABA.

The University of Miami School of Law is proud to offer a unique travel/study program that begins in Athens, Greece and ends in Venice, Italy. [See entry for Greece.] It includes a 5-day Aegean Sea cruise which commences at Piraeus, Greece and makes stops at the Greek islands of Mykonos, Ephesus, Patmos, Rhodes, Heraklion (Crete), and Santorini. Classes will be held in the hotels where the students overnight, as well as on the cruise ship. The opportunity to study Comparative Constitutional Law for 3 credits taught by a distinguished UM Law professor while visiting wonderful, historical Italian venues and traveling throughout the region by coach makes for a very memorable learning experience.

UM Law seeks to give law students an invaluable comprehensive summer study/travel experience that will carry them through the rest of law school and into their careers.
